This summer I'm determined to work on my photography and learn my camera and programs I have to a fuller extent. Photoshop is quite overwhelming, but I finally purchased a very large book to walk me through some of its features. The above is my first attempt with selective color. If I can work on Photoshop at least once a day I hope to become familiar with all of the shortcuts and really make use of this program as a great asset to my photography.

First fruits of the year-cheeries! There's a small window of time to pick them-too soon and they're sour, too late and the birds have eaten them all.

Mario's dog Butch Cassidy came over to play yesterday on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. He and his extra long tongue love the camera!

Basking in 80-degree weather.

You're looking at a shot of the 2nd place winner of the amateur dog frisbee division from a contest held in Piedmont park (before they stopped allowing events there in order to preserve the grass in the drought...i don't know if Screen on the Green will really be as exciting on the bricks in Centennial).
The next three shots are a sequence using my continuous shutter mode:

It's in sight...

the catch...

and the mid-air photo pose!
"You're something else, Butch Cassidy!"
