This week conditions were ripe to trim and slim the apple trees and the bob of my hair that had grown out.
Bryan and I decided to cook dinner last night since my mom and dad both work really full days on Mondays. The idea of "Fish Mondays" began because fish is healthy and tasty while also really speedy to cook at the end of a long day. (Most of our favorites can be found at the fish counter at Whole Foods.) We took on that new tradition and also began the evening with a delicous Green Apple and Celery Salad recipe I found online in order to incorporate the day's fresh pickings. I wasn't sure about a dish so loaded down with celery but the sauce gives it a good zing of flavor and I really enjoyed the crunchiness of each bite.
(*Note about the recipe: I only had celery without leaves and I found I only used about half of the sauce. Fresh and delicious and more sauce for the next go round!)

Cute, cute, cute! I had decided to grow mine out a bit like that. The color really makes yours pop though. - I love it!
I love your hair! This morning I had an almond croissant from La Boulangerie, a french bakery obviously, here in NOLA. It wasn't quite as good but a very nice substitution! I miss you!
