Bring the Heat

We're freezing!
Ok, maybe we're not freezing just yet, but when Bryan's mom came to visit this weekend she brought in cold weather! I'm fully aware I'm a pansy when it comes to cold weather. When I walked outside to talk on my cell yesterday I walked across the street until I found a patch of sunlight to bask in. The days are still beautiful but the cool air is creeping in after the sun goes down. I've been holding off running the heat, but last night my mom sent me a text message saying she started a fire in her big Cracker Barrel fireplace and this morning my roommate Bear yelled, "You know, it's going down to 40 tonight!" I cracked. I turned on the heat.
Caron spoiled me on Sunday morning before church and had my towel heating up in the dryer while I was showering :) It was a fun, but short, visit for Homecoming weekend.

Its all good-the cold that is. I was even excited to scrape ice off the windshield when I got to work today. I will save a fire for you!

Bisous!

this made me smile! you never did much like the cold. I'm glad you turned the heat on. I broke down and turned on ours this week. It's been in the low 30's at night. I am the complete opposite of you though, and I LOVE IT!

a heated towel - good for you those do feel really good. Charlie is loving the airconditioning. He goes out and just stays on the front walk or porch - Scarlett goes out and comes in shivering. She didn't move for the longest time this morning as she was naturally covered up in her bed. Mommie got me to turn down the heat so it would be cooler to sleep. We'll see. We're trying 62 at night. you're right about the day - Mommie said it was beautiful as well. I'm sure you'll be glad to know that thanksgiving catus is preparing for it's annual show (although it may be a bit early). The squirrels know it's cold as well for we have a new BIG hole. The lights could go any day now. Mr. Witt is 'looking into' something to do about those squirrels. Enjoy the leaves there as the front of your campus is really pretty this time of year. love you lots - daddy

I'm jealous! How is it that you can be freezing down south, but we are still sadly without snow up in the frozen north? Im still leaving the window wide open at night, makes sleeping so much cozier when its cold and you can snuggle up in your blankets... heated towels when you get out of the shower are pretty nice though too : )
