Coming to you this week from sunny, well, rainy, Clearwater, Florida.
Bryan, Steven and I drove down here to visit Bryan's mom and uncle. Being a Georgia girl, I forget about things like hurricane season, so it has been stormy at least once a day, but I really can't complain! I've been working on photos of my beautiful brother and sister-in-law, reading and just enjoying the time to rest and rejunvinate.
Yesterday I walked to the pier two blocks from Bryan's house to watch the fishermen and take a few photos. I don't have my camera cords with me, but I did use Bryan's phone to snap a shot of my latest flea market finds. Steven and I woke up around 7:30 Saturday morning to be one of the first to arrive at the flea market in town.
We wandered through the stalls as vendors set up for a hot day by plugging in fans, pulling out carts and parading their wares. Steven and I get along great because we're both avid readers and lovers of film. On this muggy morning, we found three excellent book shops selling everything from The Riverside Chaucer to Milan Kundera to dusty Disneys and Golden books.
I snagged four books, including a new Jodi Piccoult one I was handed out of a store owner's trunk (she said she sells them as soon as she puts them out), for about ten dollars. (This includes my discount for the possibility that I become a teacher.) A pretty good deal:)
Now for a walk to the water before the rain comes.

Love the old bookstores... always so fun to do some treasure hunting in. Glad you are having some fun in the midst of the rain : ) Cant wait to see the shots of the fishermen on the pier, I know they are beautiful.
Glad you are able to have some R&R, looking forward to doing the same in a few weeks when we head to the beach!
