There's one thing I do know...I would be in much better shape if I lived in Lyon. Last summer I read a book called "Why French Women Don't Get Fat." (I didn't want to read it at first, wondering if I would want to read about how Americans are stupid and so are the fast food chains they're sending to Europe. However, it was actually entertaining, has some great recipes, and holds some value in life.) Though, I will stand to say this picture thouroughly explains why the French aren't all obese. These stairs all all around the city, and this particular set makes up about 1/3 of my way up to the hostel I stayed at in Lyon. But wasn't it worth the view?
