Walking back up after the firework show, we were going to go up to the hostel, but we everyone else stopped by the church again...in no time a band started up and people talked and danced the night away. My favorite part was that no one cared what they looked like or who was around; they were all genuinely having a wonderful time. Some dressed as leopards from the parade, others in skirts and tops. Some doing some fancy footwork, others, well...they had no knowledge of any footwork--but I scanned the audience looking over all the faces, and they were all jubilant. Fun times-Aisha says she's my good luck for randomly happening on carnavals and miscellaneous events:)
