Welcome to the Sunshine State! I've relocated again-I know, big surprise; so far this year I've lived in France, Atlanta, and now Tampa. That was one exciting drive allllllllll the way down 75. Along the way, I took note of signs that passed by, so I thought I'd explain my trip as so:
*Macon bypass--this meant I had definitely left my home-enter Mayberry.
*Tifton has everything--I highly doubt it. Can you really have such a billboard existing in life?
*In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path--now this is something to believe. This great reminder drifted by on the back of a semi shortly after we stopped for gas and food in Valdosta.
*Warning--There was a big sign as we entered Florida. Right after Welcome, You're in Florida, I was warned that Florida is a shoot first state now. How lovely to be welcomed by a sign with a huge gun on it explaining the new law. Now if you feel threatened here, open fire. To all you vacationers out there-especially if you're likely to carry some road rage, just know the Floridians are carrying weapons to fix that feeling real fast.
*Kash N' Karry--a grocery store here. I opt for the Publix or the natural market, but even if it weren't for health reasons, I still wouldn't shop at this store. Are you kidding me? Can we not see that you can keep the exciting illiteration if you spell the words correctly as well?
*5/3 Fifth-thirds--This is a bank, I think, but either way, I believe it's more self explanatory than the last.
That's the sign situation for now. Other than that, moving in to a room at Bryan's mom's house was fine. Bryan is staying with a guy who goes to his church who's daughter is at college. My luck with new places continues. The night we drove in, John (Bryan's new roommate), invited us in for steak, chicken, King crab legs and potatoes--oh man:)
And of course, let me know if anyone wants to take a beach trip for the summer-we've got couches.
