Time for Wine with a Dish of Fish

My new job is ambassador to the European Union by way of serving Beaujolais wines and Italian olive oils. Yesterday we were at Creative Loafing's Booze and Brews Festival in Woodruff park and today we helped the folks at The Standard with the grand opening of their new restaurant on Memorial Drive (next to Six Feet Under). It's a great job to have-I help people find a new wine they can really enjoy, topped off with a taste of vinification info. I've learned quite a bit myself, trained by a top notch soma lier in Atlanta, Wynn Pennington (yes, Ty's brother; however in the world of wine, Wynn stands on his own name). That's the two of us at The Standard in the photo above.
For dinner tonight, I brought the wine, my mom brought the sushi and fresh raspberries and mangos-mmmm. Good times... although, Kyle came home with his own sushi...After a day of fishing with Mario
