weekend shenanigans

This past weekend the Jacksonville State University ultimate frisbee team, known as Ajax, competed in the T-town Throw Down in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. (Above: Sintos is putting the mark on a Tulane player.)

I'm quite proud of the progression our guys have made from learning the game last year to really competitively playing this year. Our first year, we were glad to score some points--this year we beat Tulane and Mississippi Delta Community College! Further, we were only two points shy of taking the game against UGA's B team (of which we took half 7-2)!
As this college tournament had only men competing, I played much less than I coached from the sidelines, but here is picture proof that I can actually run...when I want to...chasing plastic.
