Chatting with Carly

Skype is great.

I recently got to talk to Carly on my computer with Skype. I figure if I get online at night, it will be morning where she is...that's why she's yawning in that last snapshot! It's so good to hear about where she is and what she's doing. So far we've learned that napkins aren't given out in Singapore and that she's a giant who is considered an XL in the "one size fits all store"--can you believe a store like this exists?

This weekend she's on a side trip to Malaysia with some new found friends-how fun! But on regular days she has been doing well at putting some new stuff up on her blog, so check it out and send a greeting her way: www.cchupp.blogspot.com.

And don't forget about good ol' Mister Kyle. He's back in Canada...probably freezing...so I won't complain about how cold it is tonight as the bank sign reads 13 degrees (I know it's probably negative that where he is). As for me, I've got 11 novels, a textbook, presentations, research papers,critical theories, exams and articles ahead of me...not to mention preparing for orals. A long semester but hopefully the last one to finish out my master's degree in English!
