The store full of hot clothes at cool prices is opening at Atlantic Station in spring 2008. H&M has been called the "fast food of fashion," but its creative style and cheap clothing allow consumers to add exciting pieces to their wardrobe without dipping into savings or going without electricity for a month. If the power fashionistas of TLC's What Not to Wear, Stacey and Clinton, allow people to shop there, and it doesn't bring on the harm the way a quarter-pounder would, why not?
My first H&M encounter was in Germany with Carly. We had no idea what kind of store we went into--only that the clothes in the window looked worthy of more than window shopping. Once we grabbed some goodies and saw the price tags, stopping to make sure the conversion rate was right, we were astounded!
I've since also visited the H&M in Lyon, Chicago and Washington, D.C. However, the one opening in Atlanta will be the first store south of Virginia.
Hip Hip Hoooray!
(i.e. for Christmas I would like a gift certificate:)
