Days Like Today

It's days like today which provide a little refreshing breeze to life:

Crisp morning.
Cranberry muffin.
Sun shining.
Lemon verbena.
Perfect jeans, t-shirt, flip flop weather.
One class.
Tests, papers and quizzes for the week are done.
Chick-fil-a.
Casual Friday.
Coffee break.
Boss out of town.
Bike ride.
Keen shoes.
St. Croix sparling water.
Scupernongs.
Windows open.
Movie night.

Meet the Rat Pack: Sintos' silver dollar fish who "line up" in front of the tank on command (or so we think). The biggest one (back left here) is Frank and the smallest (above Frank) is Sammy Davis-the rest have to figure themselves out.

There is this one spot on the path I take when walking at camp (Woodland that is) that lately has been smelling like scuppernongs, and dangit if I can't fing any! I am so sad every time, but I am happy that you channeled my desire for them and ate some for me! Love you!

Funny you say that-the last two times I've biked on the Ladiga trail, there's one spot I swear smells of them too! I have slowed down and haven't seen any but next time I just may be tempted to get off my bike and dig around:)
