Look who came to visit!
I met Claire last year while she was studying abroad for a year from Paris and living in the International House on campus. We hit it off right away and she even came home to Atlanta with me for Thanksgiving.
Then, this summer, we got to hang out with Claire and her friends in Paris and have her show me her life there.
Her visit lasted only a week-in between her finishing school and starting work-but it was really great to see her and I think she had a wonderful time feeling back at "home." All the kids, from many different countries, call the International House home and many end up staying at JSU after their year exchange because they make so many friends here.
Among many others, myself included, Miss Claire met one good friend here and is now trying to keep up a long distance relationship with her boyfriend studying here from El Salvador, Juan (above left).
I think the funniest thing to see was what Southern U.S. addictions she needed to suffice: Waffle House and sweet tea! Funny enough, we went to Casa Fiesta to eat Mexican food with a group of internationals from the House and all but one of them ordered sweet tea:)
