the good, the bad, the snowy

My white Christmas came this morning when I opened my bedroom window!

The good: Before leaving for church, Sintos and I ran around with childlike spirit in the snow:) I got to put the hat Kyle made me to excellent use--kept me so warm and dry...and didn't mess up my hair--you should market these bowl caps!

(The bad: all of last week I was in my bed with the flu:( The snowy morning was a perk to my day, but I am pretty far behind on reading and have a mid-term tomorrow--not to mention I was out sick during magazine deadline time at work...perhaps God sent me a batch of snow as a re-energizer!)

We even ran down the street to Tick Tock's to wake him with the fun news...it was Bryan who threw the snowball at him when he answered the door.

The balloon says it all--we're happy to have any precipitation!

Gathering up the main ingredient for some snow ice cream!

This morning begins a fresh new week. It was wonderful to wake up to snow and to go worship God for His creativity--making life beautiful for us.

YEA! Before church-rain-after church it reminded me of the scene from White Christmas when the back door opened! Daddy has already made us some snow ice cream too! Love you and glad you are better!PS We knew Kyle would have many chances for snow cream but we saved some for Carly!
