Hello!
Trust that I have more fun stories and pictures to share about our time in Singapore and Malaysia, but orals are now less than a week away...so for now, just gotta breathe:)
Fortunately, I have wonderful friends and family and find God revealing himself in messages like the one above when I took a break yesterday morning and met Antoine and Bryan for coffee and a morning glory muffin. And oddly enough, I find that journaling at night can free my mind for a peaceful (but not long enough) sleep-even if it's just writing about the stories or themes I've been looking over.
Toine got his BA in communications as well-we met in undergrad and he's been my body guard ever since. He's now working on his master's as well.
And this guy---he passed his hearing yesterday!
All suited up, he had to play his entire recital with the piano for the brass staff at school yesterday morning. They approved his pieces and he is now able to perform his recital April 16! A recital is required to graduate, so yay for him passing the first step!

way to go bryan - even though I'll be physically in Texas on the 9th, my mind and prayers as you prepare and perform will be headin your way. tc
