And if those 782 photos are just not enough, we take a moment to enjoy the last few moments of summer with the peaches that became wedding favor preserves:

First, start with A LOT of fuzzy, ripe peaches (these are from good ol' Woodbury, Ga).

Second, peel and slice then "lather and repeat."Slice with friends and music

One slice for the bowl, one slice for moi.

Simmer in a little sugar and stir, stir, stir.

Boil lids and top and twist jars full of yummy preserves.

Wait for the lids to pop (all but one did!)

Decorate and put out for guests (who have already called "needing" more)!
