Cheers to the bosses on Bosses Day!
{Sorry the pic is a little blurry--I revel in how quickly I can take a photo from an iphone and put it on the blog (and no, I'm not cool enough to have one...it's my mom's).}
My dad and I celebrated bosses day with some hot cocoa and a warm fire last night while watching Bedknobs and Broomsticks on TCM (I love how there aren't any commercials during movies on this channel). I haven't seen this movie since I was small, so it was amazing to watch in nostalgic manner and see parts I don't remember existing before. (i.e. I remember the animated sections of undersea dancing and jungle animals playing soccer on the isle of naboombu. I do not even remember World War II being involved! Not to mention how much this movie has in common with Mary Poppins!)
I decided I could celebrate bosses day because as a freelancer, I'm my own boss:) And it seems appropriate that I celebrate with my dad because this national day began when Patricia Bays wanted to honor her boss, who happened to be her father, on his birthday.
So cheers to all the bosses! Treguna, Makoidees, Trecorum, Sadis Dee!
And a special shout out to freelancers alike and great moms hard at work too!
