I saw a red awning and went to check out the cafe-it's called the Hippopotamus Cafe! Next to it is this statue-I don't know that it's a good angle for you to see b/c I was trying not to look super touristy as the tables were right next to it-but, there is a man trying to stand and/or hold up the horse and underneath is a plaque giving a birth-death date...i'm concerned. I will have to find the whole story...i'm interested. Until then, this photo is labeled "death by horse statue by hippo cafe."
