All together-these are the four estagiers of the Hotel Comfort Inn! After our long day yesterday, we went out into the city and had a fun night actually being able to just have fun together. It's so good to have three other girls to go out with. If you want to go somewhere, one of them is bound to volunteer to go with you. And this picture was taken before we got soaked on our walk back to the hotel. Actually, we walked for about 15 minutes, realized we were already soaked to the bone, and went to the train station to pay for a taxi:) While we were dancing, though, I was laughing at many of the songs playing-even the YMCA. They get into American music. To answer your question, Robert, they play a lot of American dance party favorites. It's weird to be working in the kitchen with all of this French floating around me and to also hear "...come on mister dj won't you turn the music up..." and "...don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me..." At least, these kind of songs are on the station the cook listens to every day. But the radio dj speaks French. Darina says she thinks it's funny that they pick up some of the words to the songs and sing them, but they have no idea what they're singing about. But then again, I suppose that's the same with many Americans as well-they just like the beat. R & B and hip hop are still relatively new here. My roommates thought I was so cool and hip because I had some Outkast music on my computer. I do miss dancing at home, though. The DJ last night was horrible. We need DJ Scribe to come here! There was no flow at all, he just played part of a song, stopped, and then played another song with a different beat and tempo and sometimes genre. (sorry for those of you who don't care about the music stuff:))

Showing the kids outkast?! Way to rep the A! I remember the same issues in Prauge though, it makes me very sad that our european cousins have such painful taste in music (new madonna? pussycat dolls!?!). Trainwreck dj's make hurt, but what are you going to do right?
thanks for that picture ;-)
