another self portrait-working the 3-11 shift at the hotel last week-just amusing myself b/c this is the clean-up shift. you work by yourself and finish up the laundry, finish up the dishes from lunch, clean cabinets, clean the cafe machine, wash and fold napkins, set tables for dinner, wash all the floors-the excitement never ends! but when it does, and you don't find something to clean, and you look like you're not busy...you will surely be asked to wash each leaf of the trees in the restaurant. this has happened more than once. the cooks look at me like i'm crazy when they come in for the night!
