al'read'y

Yes, I've already started my homework. In fact, I'm over half way through the first of my 17 books. Michelle has one of those big comfy chairs, so every day (so far a whole three in a row) I find a couple hours to turn on some classical music, sit in the big chair by the window, have a cup of coffee accompanied with some dark chocolate (this makes the required reading seem more pleasureable), and read my book.

My first selection: "Long Days Journey Into Night." Wow-already many double meanings going on with this theme:) I won't bore you with the other less obvious and humorous ones.

I'm also debating on whether to stay up tonight and get work done for a while or try sleeping at Michelle's bed time. I have to be at Mason at 4am to get per diem, a McDonald's biscuit, and catch and the bus to go to Furman for our first football game. Maybe my seat partner wants to hear a rousing narrative on the way...no, she's my friend, I shan't do that to her. And tonight is the one night Michelle will probably stay up past 10 or 11, so I suppose I should stop blogging and read more of O'neill's story now. The good thing is that we're starting with "the great ones" rather than "the ones that bored me through grad school in the dark ages," says my professor. Oh joy! Posted by Picasa
