Encore a Montpellier
In no particular order of day or importance, here are a few shots of my wonderful time in France:

Zooming by, the Tour de France
Me crouching down on the top bunk (of three) in my 'chouchette' (sleeper train car).
I got to visit with old friends from when I lived in Montpellier last year. A wonderful opportunity. This is Lorianne, or Lolo, the sous chef at the hotel restaurant I worked in.
Corinne (my lovely hostess) and I at Place de la Comedie (in the centre, or downtown) after dinner one night.
It was a fabulous dinner ending in a brilliant lavender creme brulee
Shopping at the market
I'm more than fortunate to have gotten the chance to visit my little European city and a wonderful friend. Planned and unplanned events took place, each one in its own place, making the trip what is was meant to be. Lost luggage in Paris led me to a new friendship with a girl from California/Holland. Bastille day gave me a chance to see another country's celebration of independence while still loving my own. An open meal schedule led to more than one dinner invite from locals. Visiting my old hotel re-stirred old relationships and laughs at certain jokes that haven't been spoken of, or thought of, in a year. Sharing a room (and clothes and toiletries and meals and dances) with Corinne created many new great memories. Joie de vivre (the joy of life)!
