Overall, it was a good day. Although it probably wasn't ideal conditions for the healthiest of exercise, I got to play four games of ultimate and hang out with friends I won't get to see once school starts.

'Orange' you glad you weren't playing in 102-degree weather?
Call us crazy, but the Atlanta Flying Disc Club (AFDC) held it's weekend plans this past Saturday and Sunday on the polo fields in Cumming: the End of Season Tournament for summer league. It's always been a toasty, humid event, but this year had to have marked a real highpoint, literally speaking. When you weren't on the line getting ready to sprint towards the other team...
you were trying to claim a square inch of shade under the team tent. There was not a breeze in the air, but I guarantee it was at least ten degrees cooler under there. That, and, as you can see, I packed extra ice packs in my cooler, so putting those on my head helped bring my body temp down a little.
Overall, it was a good day. Although it probably wasn't ideal conditions for the healthiest of exercise, I got to play four games of ultimate and hang out with friends I won't get to see once school starts.
